January 2026

God is always at work, whether we recognize it or not. And when He reveals what He’s doing, we respond with a mixture of excitement, awe, and unwavering confidence in His faithfulness.

Today, we share news that reflects God’s ongoing work in two ministries—Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding.

About eight years ago, Cary E. Vaughn was invited to begin preaching for a small, struggling congregation called Community Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee. The church had attendance of about 15 members at that time, now runs about 350, and is still growing. In that same time frame, Cary and Bobby Lewis have worked together at Love Worth Finding to grow the continuing impact of Pastor Adrian Rogers’ ministry—experiencing rapid international growth, creating a digital media platform, re-introducing pastor training resources, and deepening engagement with ministry supporters.

Due to the God-blessed growth in both ministries, Cary has worked with the LWF Board of Directors to ensure both continue to receive the leadership each deserves. This plan allows Cary to increase his pastoral focus while reducing his executive leadership demands at Love Worth Finding.

Cary is not leaving Love Worth Finding, and in fact will be joining our Board of Directors after this transition. With the blessing of both our current Board and the Rogers family, he is passing day-to-day executive leadership to Bobby Lewis, our current Executive Vice President. Bobby served for many years under Pastor Adrian Rogers at Bellevue Baptist Church and for the past eight years has worked alongside Cary to lead LWF’s growth.

Effective immediately, Bobby will serve as President while Cary remains to ensure a smooth transition, continue to maintain key relationships, and to serve on Love Worth Finding’s Board. Our mission remains unchanged: bringing people to Christ through the timeless, trusted preaching and teaching of Pastor Adrian Rogers.

Please join us in congratulating both Cary and Bobby, and pray for both Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding. We ask for your continued prayers and financial support as we press forward with the gospel.

About the Transition

About eight years ago, Cary E. Vaughn was invited to begin preaching for a small, struggling congregation called Community Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee. The church had attendance of about 15 members at that time, now runs about 350, and is still growing. God is clearly blessing that work.

In the same time frame, Cary and Bobby Lewis have worked together at Love Worth Finding to grow the continuing impact of the ministry of Pastor Adrian Rogers. Under their leadership, LWF has experienced rapid growth internationally, created a digital media platform, re-introduced pastor training resources, and has deepened engagement with ministry supporters.

Due to the God-blessed growth in both of these ministries, the personal demands on Cary have increased in two different ways—his pastoral calling and his executive leadership at Love Worth Finding. Over the past year, Cary has worked with the LWF Board of Directors to put together a plan to ensure both ministries continue to receive the leadership each deserves. This plan allows for Cary to increase his pastoral focus and, at the same time, reduce his day-to-day executive leadership demands at Love Worth Finding.

No. Cary is not leaving Love Worth Finding and, in fact will be joining our Board of Directors after this transition. With the blessing of both our current Board and the Rogers family, he is passing day-to-day executive leadership to Bobby Lewis. Cary remains to ensure a smooth transition, continue to maintain key relationships, and to serve on Love Worth Finding’s Board.
Effective immediately, Bobby Lewis has begun serving as Love Worth Finding’s President. Cary remains with Love Worth Finding to ensure a smooth transition, continue to maintain key relationships, and to serve on Love Worth Finding’s Board.
No. This is not a sudden decision. Cary and the Board have been working together for the past year to plan this transition carefully. This reflects strategic, intentional planning to position both Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding for continued success.
Cary remains with Love Worth Finding to ensure a smooth transition, continue to maintain key relationships, and to serve on Love Worth Finding’s Board. He is reducing his day-to-day executive leadership demands to allow Bobby to lead day-to-day operations while Cary continues to contribute through Board service and maintaining key relationships, and increases his pastoral focus at Community Baptist Church.
About Bobby Lewis

For the past eight years, Bobby has served as Executive Vice President at Love Worth Finding, working alongside Cary to oversee the ministry’s operations, financial stewardship, and strategic initiatives. He knows this ministry intimately and is deeply committed to Pastor Adrian Rogers’ legacy and message.

Bobby is committed to continuing Pastor Adrian Rogers’ legacy of profound biblical teaching while positioning Love Worth Finding for expanded Kingdom impact. About the Rogers Family
Yes. The Rogers family has blessed this transition and Bobby’s leadership. Their blessing and support is important to both Cary, Bobby, and the entire Love Worth Finding team.
About the Ministry
Nothing. All ministry programs, broadcasting, digital outreach, and commitments continue without interruption. Our mission remains unchanged: bringing people to Christ and maturing them in the faith through the timeless, trusted preaching and teaching of Pastor Adrian Rogers. This is our calling, and it will always be our commitment.

Love Worth Finding’s commitment to financial integrity and accountability continues unchanged. Bobby has been overseeing our financial operations alongside Cary for the past eight years and will maintain the same high standards of stewardship our donors have trusted. Our financial practices, reporting, and accountability structures remain robust.

No. This transition is about ensuring both Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding receive the leadership each deserves as both have experienced God-blessed growth. The ministry is financially stable, operationally strong, and positioned for continued growth and Kingdom impact. We continue to maintain healthy cash reserves and sound financial practices.

No—in fact, we’re enhancing them. Donor relationships remain a top priority. As part of our 2026 strategic planning, we’re placing increased emphasis on ministry relations and donor care to ensure we’re providing excellent ministry to our supporters. Bobby and our Ministry Relations team are committed to maintaining and strengthening relationships with all our partners. You can expect the same—or better—level of personal attention, communication, and stewardship reporting you’ve always received.

It means we’re making it a strategic priority to serve you better. We’re committed to more responsive communication, more personalized attention, and better stewardship of the relationships we have with ministry partners like you. This isn’t about adding bureaucracy—it’s about ensuring every supporter feels valued, heard, and connected to the Kingdom impact their partnership makes possible.

About Supporting the Ministry

The most important thing you can do is continue your faithful financial partnership. The ministry needs consistent support to continue reaching people with Pastor Adrian Rogers’ biblical teaching. Beyond financial support:

  • Pray for Cary, Bobby, and the entire LWF team during this transition
  • Pray for both Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding
  • Share encouraging words with our staff
  • Reach out with any questions or concerns—we want to hear from you
  • Continue sharing Love Worth Finding resources with others who need biblical truth
No. This transition reflects careful planning over the past year, not crisis management. Cary and Bobby have been leading this ministry together for eight years and are thoroughly prepared for this transition. The Board has full confidence in Bobby’s leadership, the Rogers family has blessed this transition, and the ministry is financially and operationally sound. Cary remains with the ministry to ensure smooth transition, maintain key relationships, and serve on the Board. We’re excited about what God has ahead for Love Worth Finding.

Absolutely. Our commitment to financial stewardship and accountability is unwavering. Bobby has been overseeing our financial operations alongside Cary and will continue the same responsible stewardship you’ve trusted. We maintain rigorous financial controls, regular audits, and transparent reporting to our donors.

Our impact reporting will continue as it always has. You’ll receive regular updates through newsletters, impact stories, financial reports, and ministry highlights. We’re committed to transparency and want you to see how your partnership is transforming lives through Pastor Adrian Rogers’ biblical teaching. With our increased emphasis on donor care, you can expect even more consistent communication about the Kingdom impact your giving makes possible.

You can share that this is a planned leadership transition that Cary and the Board have been working on for a year. Both Community Baptist Church and Love Worth Finding have experienced God-blessed growth, creating increased demands on Cary in two directions. To ensure both ministries receive the leadership each deserves, Cary is increasing his pastoral focus while Bobby assumes the President role at Love Worth Finding. Cary is not leaving—he will join the LWF Board, ensure a smooth transition, and continue to maintain key relationships. Our mission remains unchanged, and we’re excited about the future. About Continuity

Absolutely. Pastor Adrian Rogers’ timeless biblical teaching is the foundation of this ministry and will always be our focus. That doesn’t change with this leadership transition. Both Cary and Bobby are deeply committed to Pastor Adrian Rogers’ legacy and to ensuring that his profound teaching continues to reach people around the world.

No. The staff is secure. This is a leadership transition, not an organizational restructuring. The talented team that makes this ministry possible will continue their important work without interruption. As we strengthen our focus on ministry relations and donor care, we may make minor adjustments to ensure we’re serving our supporters excellently, but no significant staff changes are planned.
Yes. Love Worth Finding’s commitment to biblical truth and sound doctrine remains unchanged. Both Cary and Bobby served under Pastor Adrian Rogers at Bellevue Baptist Church and share Pastor Adrian Rogers’ theological convictions. Our doctrinal positions, statement of faith, and commitment to biblical authority continue without change.
All existing partnerships continue. Bobby and the team will continue to build relationships with like-minded ministries that share our commitment to biblical truth and gospel proclamation.
